Dr. Olivera Knezevic, PhD, was born on March 06, 1980 in Uzice, Serbia. She received BA and MSc degree from University of Belgrade Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, Serbia in 2004 and PhD degree from the same department in 2013. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Motor Control Lab, Department of Kinesiology and Applied Physiology, University of Delaware, USA. She works as a Research Assistant Professor with University of Belgrade, Institute for Medical Research, Department for Biomedical Engineering and Biophysics. Since 2015 she is involved as a Lecturer at doctoral studies with University of Belgrade Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, where she is teaching a course in Statistics in kinesiology.  She works as a consultant with prospective and professional athletes in the area of physical performance assessment and improvement. Her main research areas are muscle function, ACL-injury rehabilitation and sports biomechanics in general. She speaks English fluently, and very much likes cycling, hiking and dark chocolate.
